SRS F.A.Q.

What is SRS? (top)
SRS is a help desk, a change request system, a service request system, a project management tool, a customer relations tool, a workflow system.
Who should use SRS? (top)
Any company looking to ensure that their projects stay on schedule and meet customer expectations should use SRS.
How will SRS help me? (top)
SRS provides project managers with a powerful tool for progress-tracking, task delegation, and requirements definition. Receive direct feedback from customers, such as requests, concerns, and suggestions.
Can I request new features? (top)
Yes. As with any of our systems, new features can be implemented by our development team to make the application suit your needs.
How do I start using the system? (top)
All that needs to be done to start using the system is to create the names of the projects that you wish to start tracking and create the user accounts with their appropriate roles. Once this is done, you simply assign users to their respective projects. The system is then ready to start creation of tasks and tracking their progress.
Do my clients have to pay to use the system? (top)
The cost of the system is transparent to your customers. Instead your customers are treated like one of your users on the system.
Can I use this system as a help desk? (top)
Yes. The Service Request System can perform searches for similar problems logged as service requests in the past, as well as browse the resolution descriptions associated with each problem.
Does the system generate tracking numbers? (top)
Yes. For each project, each of the tasks entered for it are assigned a service request number. That service request number can then be "searched" for in the future. Service request numbers are assigned sequentially, and a project's tasks can be sorted by each task's service request number as well.
Can I assign separate security levels for each user? (top)
Yes. In the setup of the system, users can be assigned the roles of client, team member, or project manager. Each of the roles has appropriate access / permission authorities granted to them.
How much does SRS cost? (top)
Pricing is based on the number of users of the system, and a small system can be implemented on a trial basis for free. Click here for more pricing information on the Service Request System.
